$349 first emergency visit

What the $349 includes

Consultation

We listen to what's going on, examine the tooth, and explain what we find. No pressure.

X-rays

Required to accurately diagnose what's happening below the gumline. Digital, low radiation.

One treatment

Either one tooth extraction OR one surface filling, on the day. Whatever you need to leave more comfortable.

Excludes: wisdom-tooth removal (quoted separately — see our wisdom teeth page), root canal, crowns, implants and other complex procedures. For these, we provide a written quote before any further work begins.

For new patients on their first emergency visit. Returning patients pay our standard treatment fees.

Preferred provider

Major Australian health funds — claimed on the spot

We're preferred providers for the major Australian health funds. Tap your card at reception, we process the claim on the spot, and you only pay the gap. The amount you can claim depends on your level of extras cover.

HBF preferred provider Bupa preferred provider Medibank preferred provider HCF preferred provider NIB preferred provider CBHS preferred provider Smile.com.au preferred provider

Not sure if you're covered? Bring your health fund card to your appointment — we'll check coverage for you. Or call your fund and ask "What's my annual limit and per-visit rebate for dental extras?"

Payment plans

Interest-free payment options

For larger treatments — crowns, implants, Invisalign, full mouth restoration — we offer interest-free payment plans through third-party providers. Subject to credit approval and provider terms. Ask at reception when you book.

Spread the cost

Larger treatments can be paid in monthly instalments rather than a lump sum.

Interest-free

Many of our payment plan options have no interest within the plan period — you pay only the treatment cost.

Quick approval

Decisions typically same day. Your dentist will quote the treatment in writing first so you know what you're committing to.

What to bring

For a smooth visit

  • Photo ID — driver's licence or similar
  • Health fund card — if you have one, so we can claim on the spot
  • Medicare card — for children eligible under CDBS (Child Dental Benefit Schedule)
  • List of medications — anything you take regularly, so we can ensure safety with any anaesthetic
  • Previous x-rays — if you have recent ones from another clinic, bring them so we don't repeat unnecessarily
Our pricing approach

Three commitments on pricing

Quote in writing

Any treatment beyond the $349 first visit is quoted in writing before we begin. You decide before we do anything.

No surprise extras

If we discover something during treatment, we stop and explain it. You decide whether to continue.

Indicative pricing on every page

Every treatment page on this site shows our typical pricing for that treatment. Final cost depends on your specific case.

Finance questions, answered

How much is the first emergency dental visit?

$349 for new patients on their first emergency visit. Includes consultation, x-rays, and one tooth extraction or a surface filling. Excludes wisdom-tooth removal. Any further treatment is explained and quoted in writing before we begin.

What health funds do you accept?

We're preferred providers for HBF, Bupa, Medibank, HCF, NIB, CBHS and Smile.com.au. We claim on the spot — tap your health-fund card at reception and you only pay the gap.

Can I pay in installments?

Yes. We offer interest-free payment plans through third-party providers (subject to credit approval and terms). Ask at reception or when you book.

Will Medicare cover dental?

Medicare does not cover most dental services. Some children may be eligible under the Child Dental Benefit Schedule (CDBS) — we can advise at your appointment.

Do you give written quotes?

Yes — for any treatment beyond the $349 first emergency visit, we quote in writing before any work begins. No surprises.

How much does it cost without health insurance?

The $349 first emergency visit is the same with or without health fund — it's our flat first-visit fee. Without health fund cover for further treatment, you pay the full quoted amount. With health fund cover, you only pay the gap.
